I knew Vinny from when I first started in the 3rd Pct. in 1983 until I retired in 2011. We spent many times together both on and off duty and I got to know his son also when we went canoeing. He was a terrific guy and I never heard anyone speak badly of him. We had a lot of good times together in the 4th Pct for over 20 years. It seems like yesterday when we all gathered for his walkout. We'll all miss you Vinny!
