My fondest memories were when my family visited Joanne & Tommy Weir’s house for family gatherings & my family, the Daly’s, always played football in their yard. I also had visits from Joanne at LIJ, where I worked, & had lunch & caught up with each other. When I gave birth to my dtr, she was on duty & made sure I had a pvt room & was taken real good care of. She was the best nurse one could ask for.
My condolences to all the family & now she is with Tommy singing their songs. RI P, Joanne.
Love, Ginny (Daly) Bierschenk

Dear Eileen and family, As I said in my email, "We really have to stop meeting like this ... only at funeral time." But the time has come. I understand Joanne's daughters did Mom honor by being there at the end. Good on you! The Commandment says, Honor your Father and Mother that you may be long on the Earth. So be it. Joanne must have been proud of her accomplishments as an R.N. With that in mind, I shall contribute in her name to SUNY-Farmingdale Alumni Nursing Fund. Greetings also from my bro. Dennis and wife Amanda. We lost lil'Sis Linda in Feb 2018 rip+ We three remain. Cousin Richard Daly, Plattsburgh NY.
