Life Story for Carolyn Hoeker

Carolyn  Hoeker
Mrs. Carolyn Hoeker, 70, of Watkinsville, GA passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 14th, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.
Carolyn was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 17th, 1947, daughter of the late Ida and Irving. She graduated from Long Island University in 1968, began her career as a High School Teacher and finished working as a consultant performing web publishing services. She married the love of her life, Paul, in 1969. She enjoyed cooking, playing piano, organ, golf, and working with arts and crafts in the forms of crocheting, beaded flowers, and needlepoint.
Carolyn’s primary devotion was to her family. She leaves loving memories to be cherished by her devoted husband Paul of 48 years; her children Adam (Patty) Hoeker, Alison (Shayne) Wilbanks, and David Hoeker; grandchildren, US Army Private First Class Alex Hoeker, Laura Hoeker, Leland Wilbanks, and Hunter Wilbanks; as well as many loving friends.
Viewing and service will be at McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home (www.mccourtandtrudden.org) on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 1pm. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Cemetery at 3pm.
