Kevin H McGivney
McGivney, Kevin H., age 73 of Whitehall, PA, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018 surrounded by love and tears from his dedicated family. Kevin was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 19, 1944. He served his country honorably as a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a Bronze Star Recipient. He was a successful business man, making many friends along the way. He is survived by his wife, Ginny of 50 years, his devoted children, Kevin, Suzanne Heym (John Jr.), and beloved grandchildren John III, Jack, Marlie, Ryan, and Tyler. He was a strong-willed, determined inspiration to his children and grandchildren. He will be loved and missed until we all meet again someday. We will gather to respect and honor his life on Thursday 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home, Inc. 385 Main St. Farmingdale. Religious service Friday 11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery. www.mccourtandtrudden.org
