HYNES – Eileen V., of Ridge and formerly Farmingdale, New York, passed peacefully on January 8th in her 96th year in the comfort of her home surrounded by members of her large and loving family. Beloved wife of fifty years to the late Frank (former Oyster Bay Councilman and Receiver of Taxes); Beloved Mother of the late Robert and beloved Mother-in-law of the late Philip Dinielli. Beloved Mother of Barbara Dinielli, Douglas (Kathleen), Joseph (Maria), Nancy Salerno (John), and Elizabeth Hastings (John). Beloved “Nanny” of Keith (Kim), Jacquelyn (Anthony), Christopher (Sarah), Veronica (David), Kelly (Stephen), Robert (Pei), Nicole, Meghan and Brendan. Beloved Great-grandmother “GG” of Ryan, Troy, Darin, Colin, Vincent, Lliam, Grady, David, Christine and Lily. Cousin, Aunt and Great-Aunt “Eileen” to many cherished members of her extended family. Former Member of the Village of Farmingdale Board of Zoning Appeals, St. Kilian’s Mothers Club and Women’s Club of Farmingdale. Born on Valentine’s Day, 1921, she lived by the Golden Rule and thus always enjoyed the loving company of friends and familiars alike. Family will receive friends Friday 2-5pm and 7-9:30pm at the McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home, Inc. 385 Main Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
