Bauer, William Charles of Massapequa, NY passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Plainview Hospital. Bill was 73 years old. He is survived by his wife of 51 years; Karen Palese Bauer. Bill was a loving father to his children; Jennifer and Jeff German and Dawn and Leonardo Anselmo. He also had five beautiful grandchildren; Matthew, Colin, Grace, Julia, and Andrew. Bill was a proud member of the NYPD. He retired as a Lieutenant in August 1995. He enjoyed being with family and friends, watching sports, and fishing with his son in laws. Bill will be truly missed by all. The family will receive friends Thursday 4-8:30pm at the McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home, Inc. 385 Main St. Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Friday 11am at St. Kilian RC Church. Cremation Private.
