Obituary for Thomas J Esposito
Thomas J. Esposito of Farmingdale passed away at age 61 on June 3, 2023, after a brave but brief battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. The self-proclaimed “lucky man” and retired Nassau County police officer was a vibrant, standup guy known for his strong moral compass, love of family, friends and animals, his trademark “WHOO!” and 10,000-watt smile.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara, his son Thomas and fiancé Karla, his daughter Alyssa, sisters Ann Anderson, MD and Tish Todd (Bill), nephews and grandnieces, cousins and countless friends. He will be forever loved and never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomas J. Esposito Memorial Scholarship Fund, set up by his children for NCPD members looking to go back to college and further their education.
