The family will lay her to rest under an old oak tree on Thursday, November 10th in Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, Farmingdale, NY, sharing prayers and celebrating her life which we carry forward in our hearts.
Priscilla grew up on the south shore of Long Island in a family of 6 other siblings. Her playground was Jones Beach. Her Dad’s pastime was boating around the New York Long Island inlets and named his boat the Lucky Nine. Priscilla was one of the mateys, and while enjoying the cruising, did not like his catch of fish. Priscilla graduated from Baldwin High School in New York and then went on to Skidmore College earning a degree in psychology. She settled on Long Island and was married for ten years before setting out on a separate path, calling Farmingdale, NY her home. She was only 65 years old when we lost our matey.
All knew her as a beautiful soul that loved family, crafts and holiday traditions. She was known for her big cookie decorating contests at Christmas, and fancy tree trimmings that she made herself-needlepoint ornaments and popcorn strings. She loved to travel and the Caribbean islands were favorite destinations. She also enjoyed a European trip in her college days and Later, a wild adventure in the state parks of the Southwest on a visit to AZ. She dedicated herself to her work after college as a business consultant and real estate agent. local Scottish festivals and craft shows were always a must Do. Her laughter and generous, indomitable, spirit will be missed by family and friends.
