Nancy Sorgente (nee LaBella)
Nancy Sorgente (nee LaBella), 90, of Leland, NC passed away peacefully on April 6, 2020. She was born to the late Paolo and Carmela LaBella of New York City. Nancy is survived by her daughter Annette Palen and husband Scott of Leland, NC and granddaughter Caitlyn Perillo of Dix Hills, NY.
Nancy loved to cook her Italian recipes that were handed down from her family and serve many of them to friends and family especially her granddaughter Caitlyn. She enjoyed living the last 6 years in North Carolina, but especially enjoyed keeping in touch with all her friends and family from New York.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Liberty Commons Nursing Center and Liberty Hospice in Wilmington, NC for their compassionate care during this journey.
