Obituary for Minnie Romano
Minnie Mezecca Romano, 90 of Farmingdale, NY passed away peacefully on April 21, 2020. She is survived by her daughter Madalyn Romano (grandchildren - Patty & Adam and Christopher), Catherine and husband Ed Crawford (grandchildren-Kelsey & Mike Horn, Katelyn and Kendra) and Francine & her husband, Jim Morris (grandchildren -Joe & Jen, Richie and Nicole). She was predeceased by husband Lenny and son Sal.
Minnie loved to cook manicotti and chicken cutlets as well as bake cookies for her family and friends. She enjoyed going to St. Killian’s Senior Center, playing Left, Right, Center and BINGO and occasional trips to the casinos with her sisters and extended family. She always stayed connected to her loved ones by spending hours and hours on the phone. But don’t call her between 7:00 and 8:00 PM as that was Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune time.
Minnie will be greatly missed but her memory will always live on in our hearts. A private burial service will be held. A Mass and memorial service will be held at a later date (time and place to be announced). Donations in Minnie’s memory can be made to the Lupus Alliance of Long Island/Queens
