Matilda Cucurullo-Boyle was born to Gaetano and Angelina-Gentile- Cucurullo in Brooklyn NY on 7/26/1927. Mattie joined her family in Heaven on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the age of 94.
Mattie is predeceased by her husband John Boyle and her siblings, Anthony, Angelo, Joseph, Theresa, Guy, Andrew and dear friend Ed Carney.
Mattie is survived by her son Robert Boyle, sister-in-law Josephine, and loving first cousins Guy, Gloria Ann, Thomas, Angela & Glenn, Neal, Anthony, Gaetano, Adele, Angel, and Joanne, Angela, Dolores, Carolyn, & Gaetano
Mattie was a remarkable loving, caring, and generous woman who gave what she could to many charities. Mattie’s husband Johnny was a NYC motorcycle cop who died at an early age.
Mattie adored Johnny and their only son Robert. Mattie was an administrator at Mid-Island hospital before she retired where her run was legendary. Mattie was full of life and joy, a fashionista, who loved clothing and dressed to the nines. Mattie was never old, she was always young in mind, heart and soul. We will all miss Mattie and her signature Red Hair.
