Obituary for Marlene H. Warner

On August 6th 1931, Marlene H. Warner was born in Brooklyn, New York, daughter to Joseph and Melita Pisani. Marlene’s strength and perseverance was evident in her 91 long beautiful years of life. Marlene married William P. Warner in 1951, and shared many life blessings and adventures together. Marlene was blessed to have raised 4 children Debbie, Patti, Billy, and Cindy and was here to watch her family line grow through the generations with 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Marlene was able to accomplish many of her life goals by returning to her parents home country of Malta, becoming a Maltese citizen, watching her son marry in the countryside of Italy, attending the weddings of her grandchildren and celebrating the births of her great grandchildren.

Marlene was a loving and supportive source of strength to her generational line, family, and many more who were honored to walk alongside her in life. She attended church regularly at St. Kilian’s Church, where she prayed with the rosary and honored the life of her late husband. She brought great wit, cooking, celebration, and intelligence to her family and friends, and those memories and stories will live on forever in our hearts, minds, and in her spirit. Marlene’s passing was peaceful and she was surrounded by those she loved every single day.

Marlene’s family sends gratitude to those who visited and kept her in their thoughts and prayers regularly. We know our beloved mother, grandmother, gigi, aunt, cousin and godmother is resting peacefully in the arms of God in heaven with her husband William right by her side.
