Obituary for Madeline Bondietti

Madeline, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully on August 3, 2023, at the age of
90. She was a longtime resident of Farmingdale where she and her cherished husband of 65 years, Frank
Sr., lovingly raised their family.
As a devoted mother, Madeline was committed to her three children: Annamarie (Tom), Vincent, and
Frank Jr. (Andrea). She filled her home and their lives with love and care and was happy to be a class
mom and lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Her dedication extended to her role as a cherished grandmother to Scott, Ryan (Lauren), Steven (Zofia),
Stephanie, Rachel (Chris), and Frank III. She took immense pride in attending her grandchildren’s school
events, concerts, and graduations. The joy she felt in watching them grow and achieve was evident.
She is survived by her two loving sisters, Josephine Camenzuli and Annie Anderson, who shared a special
bond throughout their lives. In addition to her sisters, she is also survived by five nieces and nephews,
and six great-nieces and nephews.
One of her greatest passions was ballroom dancing with her husband. They enjoyed many years of
dance lessons and attending dances, building lifelong friendships along the way. They enjoyed cruises
and traveled all over the world with friends and family. Their favorite destination was Hawaii, it was an
unforgettable and beautiful experience.
She was an active member and Treasurer of the Women’s Club of Farmingdale and served as the
Recording Secretary for The Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society. Her sense of community and
dedication to volunteerism touched the lives of many, and she took great joy in giving back to various
organizations.
A lover of books, she spent many hours reading and collecting her favorite books, and generously
sharing with those around her. Her cooking skills were equally extraordinary, and she was renowned for
her legacy chocolate chip cookies, lovingly baked with an abundance of care.
Those that had the privilege of knowing her will remember her for her love, kindness, and devotion to
family. As we say goodbye to Madeline, we celebrate the incredible happy life she lived and the
beautiful memories she leaves behind. She will dearly be missed but forever remembered with love and
admiration.
