John Thomas Lonnborg, a resident of Farmingdale, New York, passed away on February 11, 2020. He was 65 years old. John was born on January 5, 1955 to Ronald and Anna Burke Lonnborg. He was pre deceased by his father but is survived by his mother Anna. Beloved husband of Sandra McGlone Lonnborg, to whom he was married 26 years. Dear brother of Ronald (Deborah) Lonnborg, Michael (Kim) Lonnborg, Patricia Campbell and Margaret (Jack) Lynch. Mr. Lonnborg was sadly pre deceased by his sister AnnMarie (Bob) Walton and his cherished daughter Carly Lonnborg on May 10, 2014. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At his side to the end was his best friend, his dog companion Koda, who never left his side. John was employed as a high-voltage troubleshooter for Con Edison and was also a member of storm chasing tramp lineman for IBEW Local 1049. Arrangements entrusted to FLOWER FUNERAL HOME INC., with visitation Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm at McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home , 385 Main Street, Farmingdale, NY. Funeral mass Thursday 9:45 am at St. Killians Church with interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery
