Jeanette M. Cottone passed away on August 25, 2021. She was 91 years old. Jeanette was welcomed into Heaven by her loving husband Charles and beloved son Dr. John W. Cottone. Jeanette was the cherished mother of Charles and his wife Bridget, and daughter-in-law Dr. Carol Anne Schmitz-Cottone. Adored grandmother of Nicholas (Brittany), Michael, Julianne, and Christian Cottone. Jeanette had a lifelong love of music and was always delighted to sing and perform with her wonderful Twin County Chorus, a chapter of the Sweet Adelines. She developed lifelong friendships and loved being one of the “girls”. Jeanette’s generous heart and loving spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The visitation for Jeanette M. Cottone will be held at McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home on Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 9:30 AM – the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will be private.
