Obituary for Jack Coppola

Jack Coppola, born on March 7, 1928, died peacefully on July 19, 2020 at the age of 92.

Jack lived a life of light and love, and was the center of attention in any room he entered. He and his wife, Jean, loved music, and they shared that love with others. Together, they directed and produced many musical theater productions in their home town.

Jack dedicated himself to government and spent his days working in Albany. But his weekends were devoted to his family.

In retirement, Jack and Jean traveled the world until her death in 2004. He spent his last years with his friend and companion, Kathy McMinn, who helped bring light back into his life.

Jack is survived by his daughters Jeanette (John) and Bernadette (John); his grandchildren Meghan, Jonathan, Adam, Alex, Emily and Jessica; his great-grandchildren Max, Charlie, Thomas, Peter, Chloe, Olivia and Nora; and his many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Jean, and his sisters, Nancy, Katherine and Josephine
