SAVIO Jr., Ferdinando "Fred"- of Stuart, Florida; formerly of Farmingdale, New York on March 9, 2019. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Gotard). Loving Father of John (Jennifer) and Christina (Edward White). Devoted Grandfather of Robert, Sophie, John, Joseph, Emma, Lucy, Thomas, Christopher, Willem and Griffin. Also survived by many loving siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Fred was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Northrop Grumman as an accomplished mechanical engineer for 44 years. Fred was an avid golfer and talented craftsman. He always had a kind and generous heart and everyone that met him loved him immediately. He was a great man who will be sorely missed. The family will receive family and friends on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, 385 Main Street, Farmingdale, N.Y. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 16th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 855 Carmans Road, Massapequa Park, N.Y. Internment to follow immediately after at St. Charles Cemetery.
