Twiname, Katherine, age 97, passed away peacefully on 9/6/17 in the Dominican Village, Amityville, NY. William Twiname, her husband of almost 60 years, per-deceased her in March 2004. She leaves behind her four children, Margaret Twiname-Dungan (Gerald), William Twiname, John Twiname (Jane), and Thomas Twiname (Mary), and four loving grandchildren. She raised her family in the Bronx, St. Albans, and Rosedale. In early 1990's she and Bill relocated to West Babylon, then Lindenhurst. She enjoyed her time at the Dominican Village and maintained an active social life until the middle of August. Visitation will be at McCourt and Trudden Funeral Home, 385 Main St. Farmingdale, NY on Sunday 9/10/17 from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday 9/11/17 at 9:45 at St.Kilian RC Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
